No car needed. The nearest beach is about 15 minutes away. The Isla Mujeres ferry leaves from Puerto Juárez/Gran Puerto, a few minutes from the hotel by taxi. Puerto Cancún, with its marina and shopping plaza, is close by. The ADO bus terminal and Parque de las Palapas are a few minutes on foot, and you can ask reception about bike rental.
