Mezcal is not a hotel with plants: it is a jungle that learned the art of hospitality.
Every corner was designed to slow you down. Materials that grow more beautiful with age — wood, stone, clay, hand-woven textiles — courtyards where a patch of shade is always waiting, and that rare, almost impossible calm of standing in the heart of a city without hearing it.
Hundreds of plants make their home here: monsteras climbing the walls, palms shading the walkways, ferns swaying above your breakfast table. The garden is no mere decoration — it is the building itself, watered, pruned and pampered every single day.
At the heart of the garden, the koi pond awaits: a mirror of water where flashes of orange and white glide between lotus leaves. It is the essential stop on any wander — morning coffee in hand, watching the koi drift by is the easiest meditation in the world.
Inspired by the cenotes of the peninsula, the pool is the soul of the hotel: rocks cradling turquoise water, a waterfall that never falls silent, and shaded corners made for lingering all afternoon. By day it is pure refreshment; by night, with the underwater lights aglow, it becomes a grotto.
