Very close to that same circuit you'll find more artistic productions, such as the Cirque du Soleil show, ideal if you'd rather have a visually stunning evening than a dance floor. Instead of one big show, you'll find plenty of corners with a character all their own: a rooftop for an aperitif, a mezcal bar for tasting spirits from different states, a tiny room to hear live music. Many of these places open and close depending on the night, so let yourself drift and ask the locals; they usually have the best recommendation. The distance between Downtown and the Hotel Zone is a short taxi or ride-share trip away, and by day there are frequent buses too.
